The Macdonald Pipe Band of Pittsburgh, Inc. is one of the oldest active bands in the region. We are a not-for-profit organization [501 (c) (3)]. Our purpose is to further the Scottish arts by promoting the study and performance of its music. We are a modern, competitive pipe band with a keen eye towards the future but mindful of our forebears and the traditions that shaped us.

Do you need a pipe band for a special event in your life?

The Macdonald Pipe Band of Pittsburgh is available for any event, as a band, a small group or on an individual basis. Having us at your event is sure to make it even more memorable!

We are looking for Greater Pittsburgh area people who are interested in helping the band in a variety of ways, including helping get the word out about our performances and special events such as the Burns Supper.
