The Macdonald Pipe Band of Pittsburgh, Inc. is one of the region’s oldest active pipe bands.
Together, as friends and fellow musicians, we draw inspiration from centuries of tradition in our mission to further the Scottish arts of bagpiping and drumming for the enjoyment of today’s audiences. We are the pipes of Pittsburgh.
New members welcome
Beginner? Experienced? A little rusty after a break from piping or drumming? There’s a place for you in our ranks. We pride ourselves on instructing and developing musicians of all levels.
We invite you to drop by a band rehearsal! We rehearse most Wednesday evenings, from 6:45-8:30 pm at the Bethel Presbyterian Church in Bethel Park, PA in the South Hills. Hope to see you soon!
